Is refinishing the right choice for my cabinets?+
If the cabinets are sound and the layout works, refinishing can be a good way to change their appearance without replacing them. We’ll assess the materials and condition and tell you if another approach makes more sense.
How long will the finish last?+
A properly prepared and applied cabinet finish can last for years. Its life depends on the original surface, coating system, use and care. We’ll explain how to look after your finish and what to avoid while it cures.
What coatings do you use?+
We use professional European waterborne coatings designed for cabinetry and fine finishing. We select the primer and topcoat system for the surface and the result you want.
How long does a cabinet project take?+
Many cabinet projects take one to two weeks. Size, repairs, coating requirements and complexity can change that. We’ll discuss the expected schedule for your project before work begins.
Do I need to empty my cabinets?+
Usually, items can stay inside while we protect the openings and work on the exterior. We’ll let you know what needs to be cleared for your particular project.
Are doors finished off-site?+
Yes. Cabinet doors and drawer fronts are removed for spray finishing in the shop. Frames are carefully masked, prepared and finished on-site. Reinstallation and adjustments are part of the agreed scope.
Can you match an existing stain?+
We can work toward an existing color and prepare samples for you to review. Wood species, grain and previous finishes affect the result, so we confirm the sample before committing to the full project.
Do you help with colors?+
Yes. We can discuss paint colors, stain tones and sheen. Seeing a sample in your home’s lighting is the best way to feel confident about the choice.
